New Leadership Experience

The New Girl Scout Leadership Experience incorporates the Discover-Connect-Take Action keys to leadership. Girl Scout experiences are girl-led as much as possible, and encourage learning by doing and cooperative learning processes. We provide opportunities for all girls, anywhere in the world, to have consistent Girl Scout experiences and outcomes. Have some ?? check out the FAQ’s

Pathways

Girl Scout Pathways are flexible ways that girls and adults participate in Girl Scouting: The 6 proposed pathways include

  1. Camp Girls participate in day or resident camps with a focus on the out-of-doors and/or environmental education
  2. Events Girls participate in events (e.g., career day)
  3. Special Interest Girls participate in a series of programs with the same group of girls relating to a specific theme or purpose (e.g., high-adventure teen group, completion of the “It’s Your World—Change It!” journey over a six-week period)
  4. Travel Girls plan, earn money, prepare, and participate in regional, national, and international trips
  5. Troops Girls participate in a series of programs with the same group of girls over the course of an academic year
  6. Virtual Girls participate in interactive, high-quality program activities in a safe, secure, online environment supplemented by live events
