Working Together to Support Girl Scouting in Chicago
What is the Family-Community Partnership Campaign?
It is families, Girl Scout volunteers and staff, corporations, businesses, foundations and community members joining together to financially support a Girl Scout program for their daughters, the girls who live in their neighborhoods and the girls who will grow up to be their future employees.
The Family-Community Partnership Campaign helps ensure that Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana will be able to provide quality programs for girls in the Chicago area. Leaders make Girl Scouting possible by contributing endless hours of their time to deliver great programs for girls. But leaders also play a vital role in the dissemination of information to parents. Contributions from girls' families and friends, as well as local businesses, are essential to support council activities.
What's the Value of My Contribution?
Your gift to the Family-Community Partnership Campaign can:
Offset the cost of training new Girl Scouts of Chicago leaders;
Provide financial scholarships for day/resident camp or council events;
Provide transportation scholarships for girls selected to participate in national Wider Opportunity programs across the country and abroad;
Purchase resources for girls and leaders to use during troop meetings;
and much, much more.
